Aquatrols, the world leader in soil surfactant technology, has joined the Asian Golf Industry Federation (AGIF). At the core of Aquatrols’ purpose is concern about more efficient use of water and other resources.

Matthew Bywater, International Accounts Manager, Pacific Rim for Aquatrols, said, “We are delighted to become a Member of the Asian Golf  Industry Federation. Aquatrols delivers innovative products, methods and services that produce consistently excellent results for golf courses worldwide. Our scientifically proven products help to better maintain turf and maximise irrigation efforts, all the while conserving water and energy.

“Aquatrols believes in supporting and contributing to the industries in which we work. We are, therefore, looking forward to working with the AGIF to increase awareness of what we do and how Aquatrols can help golf courses across Asia.”

Aquatrols Changing the Way
Aquatrols has a long history of involvement within industry associations and initiatives and been a member of the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America (GCSAA) for nearly 50 years.

Each year, Aquatrols exhibits at GCSAA shows and contributes presentations at regional, national and international seminars and also participates in technical symposia, which focus on increasing the understanding and management of soil and water dynamics for growing environments.

In 2000, Aquatrols established the Robert A. Moore Endowment Fund, which is administered through the Environmental Institute for Golf. The Fund supports applied research in optimising the growing environment and resource use for golf course turf.

Eric Lynge, the AGIF’s Chief Executive Officer, said: “We are pleased to welcome Aquatrols into the AGIF fold as a Full Business Member.

“We look forward to helping Aquatrols develop its business in Asia, via the various course superintendent and general manager seminars and gatherings that we organise around the region.”
