Farmura is pleased to support the 2015 Sports Turf Research Institute field days taking place September 16 and 17 in Bingley, UK. The free event is designed to offer insights into the latest research and advancements in managing sports turf.
Over the two-day event, sports turf managers will break into small groups and tour outdoor demos across eight separate turf management areas. The Farmura station will feature research plots on several experimental products aimed at improving turf quality under stress conditions. One of the experimental products is slated for commercialization, with an expected launch at the 2016 BIGGA Turf Management Exhibition in Harrogate.
Graham O’Connor, Farmura Regional Sales Manager, will be on hand to discuss the experimental products and answer questions. Mr. O’Connor expressed excitement at the opportunity to engage sports turf managers in one-on-one discussions about the ongoing research.
“Our work with the STRI over the years has given us great insight into the challenges faced by sports turf managers. The unique setting of the STRI field days allows for friendly discussions about those challenges and how our products might help to overcome them. We are very much looking forward to the 2015 event,” said O’Connor.
