Aquatrols Europe Ltd is pleased to announce that we have entered into a new distribution agreement with Mertens, who operate in the Netherlands. Effective 1st October 2024, Mertens has been appointed to distribute our EU portfolio of soil surfactant and nutritional products within the Netherlands turfgrass market.

Reflecting on the transition, previous distributor Jan Van Mondfrans of Amenity Solutions shared his journey with Aquatrols: ” I have been working with Aquatrols since 1989. First as a distributor and from 2018 as an agent. The discovery of Revolution, after meticulous research in 2004 by Wageningen University & Research, really opened my eyes. The tests at golf club De Pan showed a phenomenal result. From that moment on, irrigation water really became an issue on many golf courses. Less is more became credible!
Over the past six years, research has been carried out on various golf courses with new products from Aquatrols. This gave me the opportunity to keep in touch with my beloved profession: maintenance of golf courses. I enjoyed more than 35 years of partnership with Aquatrols, a company that stands for good, innovative products. I did it with great pleasure and commitment!”
Ahead of his retirement, Jan expressed gratitude to Aquatrols, particularly Michael Fance, European Account Manager, for their long-term collaboration.
